Reflex: The Newest Addition To The Silver Cross Family

Silver Cross are one of the top British brands around. Established in 1877 it is safe to say they are a part of our history and heritage! After being around for over 125 years you can be safe in the knowledge that they know their stuff and you are buying into a quality brand.

Now in 2014, they have a new addition to their family - The Reflex. And it really is an innovative model. An umbrella pushchair and a travel system all in one, Silver Cross are looking to revolutionise the pushchair market.

The chassis is lightweight at only 8.5kg and folds down to a very compact size. The seat can be reclined with one hand and the whole buggy can be folded down with just one hand too, which I think is a really great feature as us mums often have our hands full and with this you can hold your little one in place whilst folding the buggy down at the same time!

It is suitable from birth up to 25kg, but what is really special is the ergonomic back support for those precious newborns. This features a mesh hammock which sits above the seat meaning that air can flow around the baby. You can also buy the newborn accessory pack which includes a rearward-facing hood, protective babynest in natural bamboo fabric and a lightweight stowaway apron for the pram system.

I think the fact that the buggy can go from pram to pushchair so easily will ensure it is a purchase for a lot of years. Add to that, it can be converted to a travel system using the included adapters with the Silver Cross Simplicity car seat
