No More Toddler Tantrums - The Reader's Thoughts

Last week I shared my tips for dealing with toddler tantrums and hopefully finding a way to manage them without losing your sanity along the way. Today I am sharing some advice from my readers, so read on for some more great tips!

Crafting With Laura Ashley

Just before Christmas I was invited to attend a crafting event with Laura Ashley with lots of other bloggers. We all met at the stunning Rosylee restaurant in Manchester and had a lovely few hours crafting, chatting and eating the amazing canapés on offer.

I put together a little video from our day, which I thought I would share with you today.

It was really nice to take some time out and have a natter without constantly being interrupted by children. It was also lovely to do some crafting, which I always enjoy but never have time for - my poor sewing machine is collecting dust in the spare bedroom! We also got to get our hands on some beautiful Laura Ashley paper!

A huge thank you to Laura Ashley and Joe Blogs for a great afternoon.

Four Years Old

I am about a month late with this post, but back in December our little girl turned four. FOUR. Every parent says it, we hear it from our own parents, but I cannot believe how quickly these years pass by. The day she was born and those newborns days are still so firmly etched in my memory that I feel I can almost touch them, and yet here we are four years on.

CFS: A Relapse?

It has been a fair while since I posted about my chronic fatigue on the blog, which I think is probably a good judge on how much better I've been doing. Whilst not back to 'normal,' whatever that is, I have so much better than I was twelve months ago. That is until this weekend.

Valentine's 12 Years In

It's only mid-January and yet already people are talking about Valentine's. Personally I'm still recovering from Christmas, yet I am seeing Cupid-related press releases and people pinning their little romantic hearts out with heart-shaped crafts, gifts and recipes.

Review: The Cosatto Story Bed

For a couple of months now we have been using the Story bed, created by our friends over at Cosatto. After sharing our initial experience in the video below, today I wanted to update you on our thoughts and feelings after fully putting the bed to the test.

No More Toddler Tantrums

We are definitely in the terrible twos with Little J - at two and a half years old we have our fair share of meltdowns and it is always a struggle to teach him what he can and cannot do. I thought today I would share some of my tips in managing those battles and maybe help you deal with these challenging moments in raising our little treasures.

Your Youtube #8

Happy New Year and welcome to Your Youtube in 2015! After a lovely break I am back with my video Youtube linky where you can share your latest and best videos, increase your views and subscribers, as well as find new channels along the way.

Welcome to 2015!

Over the last couple of years I have written a post setting a few goals for the coming twelve months and assessing how I did with these the previous year. I find at this time of year I like to sit back and reassess where I've come and where I hope to go in the future - it is quite therapeutic. I have spent quite a lot of time over the last couple of weeks journaling, planning, brainstorming and have also followed Susannah Conway's Find Your Word programme.

I'm Asking You

It is 2015 and time to make those resolutions and take stock of where we are at and where we want to be. For me this includes my blog and my YouTube channel. I am always trying to reflect on my work and find room for improvements, and this is where you come in. You, my dear readers. It is you that ultimately makes my blog what it is, and so I am looking to you to help me move it forward. I have put together a short survey, which should only take 5-7 minutes to complete, but will really help me decide what works and what doesn't.

As a thank you I will give away a £10 Amazon voucher to the most interesting answer to question 14 - that can be positive or negative, whatever you feel is constructive. Click here to answer the survey.

Thank you so much for your support over the last *gulp* four years, and I cannot wait to see what the next few hold!
