We all arrived at the store at the early start of 8am! Lured by the promise of breakfast, drinks and sweeties I think we were all keen to have a bit of a sugar rush!
Paula and Georgina greeted us and introduced us to the brand. They told us that originally the store had been just a little stand in the Great Hall at the Trafford Centre but after the success of this they moved to their store in March, closely followed by at stand at Cheshire Oaks. Alongside this they now have an event suppliers business and offer pop up sweet shops at all kinds of events.
What is great is they now have an online store. They stock so many retro sweets (who remembers Dib Dabs!), American goodies and my favourite, sugar crystals so to know that you can get these to your door is brilliant! In fact the lovely Paula and Georgina have offered us all a code to get 10% off your orders so just head to their website and use 'bloggers10' in the discount code box.

The store is decked out from floor to ceiling in candy delights - from the American Twinkies, to midget gems to my mum's favourites Pontefract Cakes! Not to mention shelves filled with tubs of different sweets, it is a feast for the eyes!
They also stock sugar, gluten and dairy free sweets which I think is a really thoughtful addition for those who want a treat but struggle to find anything that is safe for them to have. It's something a lot of larger brands could learn from.
Alongside the Sweet Shop, there were several other brands who attended the event:
Lush, who provided us with a sample of their limited edition rose jam shower gel, which is a gorgeously smelling treat for the shower.
Win Naturally which is a fantastic brand created by Julie Neville and focuses on provided totally chemical-free organic products whilst matching high street store prices. We were given a huge selection of their products to try including chocolate mulberries from The Raw Chocolate Company and salt and vinegar crisps from Tasty Little Numbers, both of which I actually really enjoyed. Win Naturally have a new store opening in the Trafford Centre on October 17th.
Regis – who gave us a lovely discount off a haircut at their Trafford Centre branch.
Shu uemura – a beauty brand, who provided some of their award winning cleansing oil to try as well as a chance to try their new brow service, which is on offer in Selfridges.
The Perfume Shop who gave us a huge selection of perfume samples, alongside some nice smellies for Mr H too.
Carluccio, an Italian restaurant in the Orient at the Trafford Centre who also gave us a lovely discount.
Many Thanks to The Sweet Shop for hosting this lovely event, I can definitely suggest popping in their lovely store and have a browse!
*I was provided with goody bags and breakfast to attend this event, however all opinions are my own.
