72 Hours In Berlin: Explore The City In Three Days
Thursday, 22 December 2016
Berlin - a city with such a harrowed history, most of which has taken part in just the last century. It has never been somewhere I've ever considered visiting and yet from the moment I stepped outside our hotel, the NH Collection Friedrichstrasse, something grabbed me and didn't let go. I recently attended a three day trip to Germany's capital city with Jet2Citybreaks, flying on its inaugural flight from Leeds/Bradford airport to Berlin Schonefeld, and I have to say it was a trip I will never forget.

Celebrating Father's Day With Braun
Friday, 17 June 2016
This week we've been really excited to be part of a campaign with Braun and Mumsnet, deciding if we are #TeamSoft or #TeamTickly for Father's Day.
Mr H was sent the Braun Series 3 Wet & Dry Shaver to try out and share his thoughts as a gift for Father's Day. We were really impressed with the shaver as Mr H has quite sensitive skin and so can't usually use an electric shaver, but because this can be used wet and dry it was a lot better for his skin. It also gave an amazingly close shave, which I love as I have to say I do like my man clean shaven!
After Mr H had tried out the shaver, the kiddos then gave their verdict on how soft daddy's face felt and we decided we are definitely #TeamSoft! This was a really fun project for us to be involved in and I love the final edit of the film, which we feature in along with four other vlogging families.
I've put together a vide from the footage we filmed ourselves, filled with some outtakes at the end. We had such a good time filming this it was nice not to be the only one on camera!
So are you #TeamSoft or #TeamTickly?

Hello and welcome back to Your Youtube and thanks for joining in! My co-host and I Sian love watching your videos each week and we love seeing you all link up. This week's video of the week is from Jess who has shared her insights into working from home. Her video is really interesting and attempts to debunk some of the myths people who don't work from an office get.

Hello and welcome back to Your Youtube, and Happy Easter! I'm so excited for the arrival of this holiday as in a week we are going to Spain for a holiday, and I cannot wait! In the meantime we've got a lovely weekend planned with the children so I should have lots of video fodder!
For this week's video of the week I've gone with my lovely co-host Sian, who has put together a beautiful letter to her daughter and created a video where she reads the letter. Sian has done this a few times now and I think she writes with such tenderness and it really shows in her video.
Over to the linky - please share no more than two videos and comment on at least two in return. Don't forget to join us in the Your Youtube Facebook group where we have a lovely little community for support and advice and where we also host the weekly chat.
Filming Videos On Your IPhone
Tuesday, 22 March 2016
Ever since I decided to give YouTube a try over a year ago I have absolutely fallen in love with making videos. Whilst I'm still not quite up to speed with uploading regularly, I am always filming little clips of the children or the days out we take. After taking part in Xanthe Berkley's Make Film course I discovered how to make my films just that little bit better by thinking about content and different angles and filming styles.
Whilst I do like making films on fancy equipment - after much waiting I finally ordered myself a Canon G7X and, oh my, how I love it. However for the most part I use my iPhone for filming as it's so handy to just get it out of my pocket and press record. Today I thought I'd would share a few tips I've picked up for filming on your mobile to help you create great videos without spending a lot of money on expensive camera.

Welcome to another Your Youtube - THE video linky! I hope you've all been enjoying half term and have managed to scrape through it still intact! We've been keeping ourselves busy with trips to Blackpool, Yorkshire and some time just me and my girly, which has been lovely.
This week's video of the week is from 2.2 Children And A Dog, I just love seeing how her two answered the questions she put to them!
Over to the linky - please link no more than two videos and be sure to watch the host video as well as at least one other and like and comment.

Here we are, at number 52 and a whole year since this linky started! I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me and my journey to grow our youtube family community, your support has meant the world and helped spawn the group and chat. There will be more to come in the next 52 weeks so make sure you stick around!
This time, to celebrate a whole year of Your Youtube I've decided to pick a video of the year. It wasn't an easy decision as there has been so many amazing videos linked up, but I've chosen this Draw My Life video from Jules at The Girl Behind The Camera as not only is a DML difficult to film (which I know from experience) I think her story is a pretty incredible one and I love hearing it in this way.
So, for our last linky of 2015 hare your videos below! Please link up no more than two and make sure you comment on the host and at least one other. This linky will run until January and Sian and I will be taking a break over the festive period. Have a fantastic Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year!

Britmums Live: A Video Round-Up
Thursday, 25 June 2015
If you saw my post or any bloggers recently you won't have missed that the Britmums Live blogging conference took place last weekend. As a vlogger myself I decided this year to put the camera down and try to focus on enjoying it, however lots of others took to their iPhones, DSLR's and video cam's to share the day with everyone. Here is a round-up of the videos out there, so if you missed it or are feeling bit nostalgic about your time have a look at these:
Practically Perfect Mum filmed the Guinness World Record Attempt that took place. I missed this bit so it's great to watch what happened, it looked hilarious!
The Gibblets are a mum and dad team who create daily vlogs, so of course they had to film their time at Britmums Live. They have done a video for each day, here is their second installment with a quick shot of me to boot!
Amy from Fun Being Mum has shared her experience of the weekend, I love seeing other people's perspectives of the day and it looked like she had lots of fun.
The lovely ladies at My Two Mums are also daily vloggers and filmed both days. This is their day two, which I am also in (along with a sneaky shot of me behind Kirsty in the Embrace Happy session!), this video has a beautiful ending too so definitely have a look.
Nadine from Business Mum filmed the fantastic keynote from Deliciously Ella, it is quite long but do bare with it as there is a private interview Ella took part in with just five bloggers at the end, well worth watching!
Emma from Twin Mum and Dad has put together a photo collage of her time at Britmums and has some great shots in there.
Jess from Mrs Helicopter has created a slightly bonkers but very fun video along with Lady Emsy, have a look for lots of laughter and boob talk!
Lauren from Blogger Mummy Lauren filmed her day, starting at the airport! I really enjoyed watching her footage and take of her time there, she also has some lovely shots of her time in London.
Finally the Ginger Warrior's Britmums video is renowned now and doesn't disappoint. Full of energy and with lots of chat to different people and brands she really sums up the buzz at the event.

Welcome back to Your Youtube! I'm extremely excited as I type this, as on Saturday I am speaking at the Manchester blogging conference, Blog On in the Youtube session! It my first time speaking at a conference so if you are at Blog On please do say hello!
Sian will be watching all your videos in my absence, and will be hosting the linky for the next two Friday's whilst I am away.
I'm now asking that everyone please watch and comment on the two videos previous to your own, that way we all get comments on our videos. Sian will be doing her best to comment on everyone's videos who links up. If you are one of the first to link then it would be appreciated if you come back towards the end of the week and watch the later videos. Thanks!

Last week's favourite video came from Julie Martin, who shared her very personal mental health story.

Welcome back to Your Youtube week twenty! After a lovely Easter break we are back and ready to hit the vlogging up! I hope you've got lots of great videos to share, so we'll head straight on over to the linky.
Link up no more than two videos and please try and comment on at least two. The great thing about this linky is how many vloggers I have now found through it and how great the community is. I hope everyone who links up feels the same.

If you like this linky and feel I deserve it, I would love to be nominated in the Video category of the BIB's 2015 - voting closes on Sunday!

Welcome to Your Youtube week 18, I hope you've all been enjoying your vlogging this week! I've fallen a bit behind and my channel has missed a couple of videos, but I am determined to get back on it today!
This week's fvourite video is from Jess at Jessica Cherry Blogs who has shared a vlog of her trip to Cornwall. Jess is just so fab on camera and her trip looks like great fun!
For those of you who aren't aware, the Brilliance in Blogging awards (or BIB's) are now open and I would love your vote in the video category! If you like my videos and feel I deserve to be nominated I would be hugely grateful if you would vote for me here.
Now onto the linky, as always please link up no more than two videos and don't forget to like, subscribe and comment to the host and at least one other video. I also ask that you tweet using the hashtag #YourYoutube. Over to you!

Hello and happy Friday 13th *eek* I hope you have all had a lovely week videoing away and are ready to share your best with us here!
First over to my favourite video of last week, which goes to The Giggles Family, who have put together a Draw My Life. It really is a fantastic video with a very touching story so do give it a watch.
Now onto the linky. If you are new I ask you link up no more than two videos and like, subscribe and comment to the host and at least one other video. I also ask that you tweet using the hashtag #YourYoutube. Over to you!

Happy Friday and welcome back to Your Youtube! I hope everyone's had a lovely week with lots of vlogging for you to share.
There were a great selection of videos linked up last week, which have been so interesting to watch. I decided this week's favourite was from Coco Mama Style, who shows us how to dress up our daytime outfits. I am definitely someone who just throws on the nearest bits of clothing during the day, so I love Helen's tips!
Over to the linky, please add your links before and don't forget to like, comment and subscribe to at least two videos including the host!

Welcome back to Your YouTube for another week. I was thrilled to see so many of you linking up last week, thank you as always for your support. There were some brilliant videos linked up but I decide to go for Brummy Mummy of Two's video as part of her 'Don't Beat Yourself Up' Guide.
So over to the linky - I do feel like a broken record but please comment on at least two videos when you link up your own and if you feel like you can't do that then please save your video for a week when you can. It is only fair when so many of us are commenting on every video each week. So, with my little rant over, off you go!
