Party With Puppy In My Pocket

There's a new toy on the block and already Holly is a huge fan - Puppy In My Pocket. My two do love a good blind bag and with the popularity of YouTube videos featuring hundreds of these being opened in one sitting, they are always on the lookout for them when we go shopping. That's how we first came across these little puppies and now the sets are expanding.

On Wednesday 28th September we are taking part in the Puppy In My Pocket party on twitter where we will be playing games, making cakes and trying out a couple of the new playsets. Party With The Lion Guard

As a child Lion King was one of my favourite Disney films and when I heard they were bringing out a spin-off show I was excited to introduce the new characters to the children. We tend to have Disney Jnr on at breakfast time so I can go get dressed whilst the children eat, and unbeknownst to me the children have been watching it quite a lot.

As the show has been so successful they are now releasing a line of toys, and we have been invited to host a party and give the new range a try. I was surprised to find my two knew the names of all the characters, as I had no idea, and when we unpacked the goodies we were sent they were very excited to play.

Our Ravensburger Party

Last week we took part in the Ravensburger puzzles twitter party, and it was so much fun! unfortunately none of our friends could make it (their party bags have been given out though) so we had a quiet party to ourselves. The children both love puzzles, though, so it was great to have some new ones to try, although out puzzle box is now overflowing!

We were sent a great selection of puzzles ranging from age 2 to 6 which was perfect for my three and four-year olds.

A Doc McStuffins Party

This week we celebrated the new episodes of Doc McStuffins with a party thanks to UKMums.tv. It was a quiet party this time as our friends were either ill or busy, so there were just five children and two mummies to watch over them. It was a bit more relaxing this time around as the children are getting older now and more independent, meaning us mums get five minutes to chat!

Our Doc McStuffins Party

Last week we took part in our second party in the last few weeks, this time a Doc McStuffins one! My two both love this show and already H has several Doc figures and a dress-up outfit. We were thrilled to be invite to party and really grateful for the toys and goodies we received for the party.

I'm really excited to let you know about another Twitter party we will be taking part in, with a brand I have just recently come across and who I am so happy to support - What2Buy4Kids. Started five years ago, when the owner, Lisa, failed to find somewhere to buy special and unique birthday presents for kids. Using her experience as a primary school teacher, Lisa is able to select fun toys and games and also encourage development and learning.

Our Sofia The First Party

A few days ago we took part in a Sofia The First twitter party. Ran to celebrate the launch of the new Sofia The First Micro Sets, we had some of our friends over to help with the celebrations.

Within my friend group there are two sets of twins - one set are one year old and the other two years old. It's always fun when we get together and we are certainly outnumbered by children - between us there were three mummies and seven children under five! It was great fun though.

Time To Party With Sofia The First!

Sofia The First is definitely a favourite in our house. At first it was mummy who was excited when the Sofia film came onto Disney Junior but over the past six months both children have become more entertained by the little princess and her friends. H now has quite a collection of Sofia figures and woe betide anyone if they try and grab one!
