For the past week we have been trying out the new Doc McStuffins Carry Along Clinic from Flair, so today I am sharing our thoughts on it.
The case comes with a set of Doc's tools, a Lambie figure, an interactive panel and four slides.
Both children are huge Doc McStuffins fans, second to Sofa The First it is on our TV a lot. They were really excited when I showed them this and couldn't wait to get into it.
Our first impressions were that it was large, so you definitely get a good amount of toy for your money. H was also thrilled that all the pieces had pink sparkly parts, as does the top of the case. The edges of the case are embossed with various Doc McStuffins images and there are two large stickers of all the characters on the front.
It took us a while to realise that the interactive panel actually slides off the lid of the case and so it kept falling over, which was really frustrating. It is better once you remove the panel, however it still doesn't balance that well so can fall over easily.
The interactive panel is a nice touch - you add a slide into it and you are then shown what is wrong with each patient and by using the diagram on the slide you can see which tool you need to make them better. You press the buttons to find the right tool, and it will light up. There is also a button on the top which makes Lambie sing how much better she feels. The children love the Lambie figure that comes with it and that they could use each tool on her to make her better.
Overall I think the toy is a good buy, although a priced a little high for me at £59.99. I think if the tools were interactive with the panel or if there were more figures with it then it would be worth this price though as it is a good sturdy toy that will definitely last. The children have played with it quite a lot over the last week and I often find them returning to it on their own to have a play with the tools or Lambie.
I have put together a video demonstrating the case and its features as well as Miss H showing what she thinks.
You can buy the Carry Along Clinic from many stores, or you can visit Flair for more information.
*We were sent this toy for the purpose of this review, however all opinions are my own.
