On July 4th 2011 we flew from San Francisco to Manchester, UK. Our beloved pooch Jasper had returned home the week before us and our furniture was en route, set to arrive about two months after us! Two days after we landed we signed the lease on our new home and on Wednesday 8th July we unloaded our storage container and moved our beloved much missed furniture into our home. The week after my hubby returned to his old office, but in a new position, and I settled in to life as a Stay At Home Mum, but this time with family and friends on the doorstep.
In September, only two months after returning home, we discovered we were due to have another baby! To say we were surprised would be an understatement but once the new sank in we were thrilled! Holly will only be eighteen months when the next baby arrives, which will be a challenge, but after the events of the last two years I am sure we will rise to it.
In December 2011 we celebrated our beautiful baby's first birthday with a Minnie Mouse themed party - mouse ears a requirement! Only a few days after Christmas came and went and then the New Year announced itself with a gong. So here we are, living back in England with a one year old and a baby boy on the way, as we discovered on Monday! Things could not be better and we are so happy to be back at home, where we belong.
Although it has been so long since I posted, I am pleased to see so many followers who still have Hollybobs on their reading list. Thank you for your optimism that I would one day return, I hope to become a much more active blogger and soon revive my Etsy store too. Happy New Year everyone!
