Review: Paw Patrol Weebles

Over the years Jack has fluctuated between TV shows, generally going through a few months of obsession which gradually gives way to the next on the list. His most recent one has been Paw Patrol and we have almost all the figures (just missing Sky!) and lots of the playsets. That is until the latest one was released - the Weebles set.

I don't think this set is something I would have bought myself as, at four and five, my two are still able to play with it but are probably on the end of the age scale to get a lot of use out of it. However when we were offered the Seal Island Pull & Play Playset to try I thought it would be a nice opportunity to actually give them a go.

We were sent the playset, which included one figure, and two separate figures to try. Of course, the children's eye lit up at a new toy, especially when they realised it was Paw Patrol!

I'm finding that many of the newer playsets have a lot more features than they did only a couple of years ago. This one is exactly the same, with a tugboat with room for two weeble toys, which attaches to the island and then can be pulled in and out to sea using the retractable cable.

There is also a swing, path to slide them down and a lookout spot. For a younger children, this is plenty to keep them amused and although the playset is aimed at 18 month+, I would suggest children as young as one could get enjoyment from it, as there are no small parts and they could have lots of fun with the boat and slide.

The price of the playset plus one figure is £29.99, which I feel is a little pricey as you really need a couple of the figures to get the full enjoyment out of the play, but if you have any of the other Paw Patrol toys you can of course expand the play using them. This is a sturdy set and I'm sure would last up to lots of play, and would be a lovely gift for any Paw Patrol fan.

*We were sent this FOC however all opinions are my own.
