Our Sofia The First Party

A few days ago we took part in a Sofia The First twitter party. Ran to celebrate the launch of the new Sofia The First Micro Sets, we had some of our friends over to help with the celebrations.

Within my friend group there are two sets of twins - one set are one year old and the other two years old. It's always fun when we get together and we are certainly outnumbered by children - between us there were three mummies and seven children under five! It was great fun though.

Miss H was so excited, and wanted to dress up as her version of a princess - which of course includes tutu! Once I had set up with all our Sofia toys and games, we were ready for the party.

Someone else enjoyed dressing up!
We were sent lots of goodies to keep us going throughout the party including pass the parcel, an egg hunt and cupcakes and cutters to make our own food. For some of the children it was their first time playing pass the parcel, and didn't quite get the concept of passing it on! In the end though everyone won a prize, so there were no disappointed faces.

Rather than food, as all the children were young, I set out the play dough and the children had fun making 'cakes' and other delights for us mummies to try.

Following that we did the egg hunt, which was full of lots of energy and delight when an egg was found. As you can see, we were slightly outnumbered!

Spot the children!
Everyone had a great time and there were lots of prizes to be won as well as goodies to take home.

Look out for our next party - a Doc McStuffins one - this thursday from 4pm until 6pm!

*We were sent a selection of toys and party things to take part in this party.
