Teach Children Great Money Habits With Pigzbe

Teaching children about the value of money is something I've always been conscious of and Mr H and and I have discussed the importance of them learning from a young age that money has to be earned. Not only does this teach them good spending habits but also the value of hard work.

My children are 7 and 8 years old and for the last year we have been giving them the odd bit of pocket money here and there. However it's not something we have got into the habit of doing regularly and we are conscious of teaching the children about money and the value of things around them.

However there is a new app being launched soon that I'm hoping will help us out with this. Pigzbe is set to help children aged 6+ learn the value of money in a fun and rewarding way, and I'm definitely looking forward to giving it a try.

Pigzbe combines the Pigzbe Piggy Wallet, an educational pocket money app for kids and parents, and their digital currency, Wollo. You can add money to the app yourself so your child can see the money they've earned adding up, and you can also add tasks for each child to complete in order to earn their money. The money they earn, Wollo, can then be spent in stores like they would with normal currency.

The app will be released in September but if you sign up before then your child will get a free £20 worth of pocket money. Pus if you can get an extra £160 for inviting friends and family to join. You'll send the free pocket money when you subscribe to the Pigzbe App for 1 month. A Pigzbe app subscription is £3.99 a month for up to two children with a 1-month free trial.
